The Architectural Photography Awards
Competition summary:
The Architectural Photography Awards, now in its seventh year, is the leading architectural photography competition in the industry. We invite participation from both professional photographers and keen amateurs over 6 categories.
Since its inception in 2012, with the support of the World Architecture Festival and facade and interior system manufacturer STO SE & Co, The Architectural Photography Awards coverage has moved from local trade papers to global news media.
Category details:
There are four main categories in this contest: Exterior Images, Interior Images, Sense of Place, and Buildings in Use.
Entry requirements:
The competition is global and open to people of all ages and nationalities.
Any entrant under 18 at the closing date of the competition must gain the permission of a parent or guardian to enter the competition. Entrants under the age of 13 at the closing date of the competition are not permitted to enter.
Entry fee:
£8 for a single entry, £30 for 6 or £72 for 36 entries.
Prize details:
The overall winner of The Architectural Photography Awards 2018, chosen from the four main categories, will take home a $3000 USD cash prize.
There will be three runners up in the main award, each winning an Architectural Photography Awards certificate.
The 20 images chosen for the shortlist for the main award will be exhibited at the World Architecture Festival in Amsterdam, 28th-30th November.
The winner of the portfolio category will take home a $1000 USD cash prize.
The judging panel’s chosen winner and the crowd-vote winner from the mobile photography category will each win $250 USD.
