Competition summary:

Welcome to the #ShutterCon2018 Photography Competition, which aims to inspire and engage all photography enthusiasts across the UK with a somewhat unusual and industrial brief. There are four themes that entrants can submit for with a chance to WIN photography equipment vouchers. Judged by Dr Eva Kalpadaki, a fine art photographer known for diachronic images, and Jo Teasdale, a Royal Photographic Society fellow.

Put your own spin on the traditional imagery of the four themes: Rooftops, Windows, Warmth, or Rain/Water. Channel your creativity to capture a prize-winning picture to impress our seriously impressive judges.

Entry requirements:

This contest is open to residents of the United Kingdom.

How to enter:
1. Post your photo(s) on your blog or website with a 500-word (max) critique of your creative know-how including a link in the content to this competition page.

2. Share your content on social media platforms Twitter or Instagram with #ShutterCon2018 or alternatively email shuttercon2018@cmoltd.co.uk with a link to your content.

Maximum one entry per theme for the following: Rooftops, Windows, Warmth, and Rain. Entry must feature on a separate page or blog post to allow us to divide entries between themes.

Entries close at midnight on Friday 10th August 2018 and the winner's announcement will follow on Friday 24th August 2018, with the winner contacted via email or the social media site used to enter. T&Cs apply.

Prize details:

There are 3 prizes available from ShutterCon2018. First place clinches £2000 in CameraWorld vouchers, second place wins £750 CameraWorld vouchers, and third place snags £250 CameraWorld vouchers for the latest tech, kit and accessories.
