RHS Photographic Competition 2019

Competition summary:

The Royal Horticultural Society is encouraging you to submit your best photos of the natural world for a chance to become the RHS Photographer of the Year 2019.

Category details:

Competition categories include: Celebrating Gardens, Welcoming Garden Wildlife, All About Plants, Abstract, Urban Gardening, Social Media (any image submitted via RHS Twitter, Instagram or Facebook accounts using the hashtag #RHSphotocomp), Under 18s (age 11-17), Under 11s, Portfolio.

Entry requirements:

The competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers from anywhere in the world, with seven distinct categories for adults and two for children and young people.

Prize details:

Adult categories:
First Place: £500 + RHS Gift membership
Second Place: £250
Third Place: £150

Portfolio category:
Winner: £500 + RHS Gift membership

Young photographer (11–17):
First place: £150 Wex Photographic vouchers
Second place: £75 Wex Photographic vouchers
Third place: £50 Wex Photographic vouchers

Children’s photographer (under 11):
First place: £150 Wex Photographic vouchers
Second place: £75 Wex Photographic vouchers
Third place: £50 Wex Photographic vouchers
