LensCulture Art Photography Awards 2018

Competition summary:

For the first ever LensCulture Art Photography Awards, LensCulture are looking to discover and highlight the diverse and creative ways in which photographers are pushing the medium and reinventing our definitions of art made with photography. The selected work from the winners, jurors’ picks, and finalists will be exhibited at the world-renowned Aperture Gallery in New York City next spring!

LensCulture are open to considering all types of photographic art - everything from printed art on gallery walls to sculptural objects, experimental processes, and totally new forms and formats.

For the first ever Art Photography Awards, LensCulture are seeking to discover a broad spectrum of photographic artists who are using the medium in innovative, inspiring, and fresh ways.

Entry requirements:

The competition is open to everyone that is 18 years or older, professional and amateur photographers alike, from any country.

Entry fee:

Single:
$20 USD for the first image, $10 USD for each additional image.

5+ Singles:
$50 USD for 5 single photos judged as 5 separate entries. You can add more photos for $10 each, up to the deadline.

Series:
$60 USD for a related series of 10 photos reviewed as one entry. Submission should work together as a group, thematically or aesthetically.

3rd Place: $1500

Single Image Award Winners:
1st Place: $2500
2nd Place: $1500
3rd Place: $1000

Jurors' Picks:
Each juror will select an individual Juror’s Pick to receive special distinction and $1,000.
