Welcome to the Urban Photographer of the Year competition, now open for entries. Established in 2008 the competition is the largest of its kind, celebrating the richness and diversity of city life around the world by challenging both amateur and professional photographers alike to capture the essence of the urban environment.

One winner per 24 hour category (24 winners in total)
One mobile winner

Entry requirements:

Open only to individuals 18 years of age or older as of date of entry. The competition is open to professional and amateur photographers, however, the entrant must be the sole author and owner of the copyright and all other rights in all images.

Prize details:

The grand prize winner will receive a luxury safari for two. Other photography equipment prizes are available for other winning photographers.
