Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize 2019

Competition summary:

In its fifth year the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize offers awards to emerging talent from all backgrounds, locations and mediums.

This year with support from Fujifilm and Genesis Imaging the Art Prize are excited to launch a brand new PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD. Enter before 25 November to be eligible for feedback on your application. Overall deadline 10 February 2019. Open to all lens based artists prizes include:

- Prize value increased to £9,000 prizes, for the Overall Winner, the Employee Choice Award, the Sculpture Award and the newly launched Photography Award and New Media Art Award.
- Includes £1,000 of production services and mentorship with Genesis Imaging
- Exhibitions in London, England.
- Group Show for 25 Shortlisted Artists in May – July 2019
- Early entries will feature in our ongoing campaigns to clients, invitations to our informative talks.

The Award is not themed but is looking for emerging photographers who are exploring interesting and relevant ideas in a unique way, either through a project or single image. With a focus on bringing photography into the mainstream art world, and giving the medium an equal voice under the prize all Photography Award entrants are still eligible for both the Overall and Employees Choice Awards.
