Photographers keep copyright; the organiser takes limited publication rights.
The rules grant permissions rather than transferring ownership. The winner permits three images for prize publicity, including partners’ publications, and the winning reportage for exhibitions and the prize archive, without payment. Photographer and agency/media credit is required, and the organiser undertakes to respect moral rights and image quality. Reviewed against the 2026 rules.

Professional freelance photojournalists of any nationality and age; full-time exclusive staff photographers are excluded. The 2026 call accepted up to two reports, each containing 10–20 images made between 17 March 2025 and 17 March 2026.
