Read the terms carefully — the licence taken is broader than we'd like.
Entrants must own all image rights and be free of conflicting agency or publisher obligations. AFNI and Asferico receive unpaid use of winning and selected images in their magazine, catalogue, websites, brochures, calendars and exhibitions. Credit is required, but no time limit is stated and exhibition use is broadly described. Reviewed against the 2026 rules.

Eligibility & entry notes.
Amateurs and professionals of any age or nationality. Youth aged 17 or under at opening enter free with guardian permission. Subjects must be photographed in natural environments; restrictions cover captive animals, nests and cultivated subjects.
