BigPicture encourages photographers from around the world to contribute their work to this competition that will both celebrate and illustrate the rich diversity of life on Earth and inspire action to protect and conserve it through the power of imagery. Chaired by award-winning conservation photographer Suzi Eszterhas, this competition welcomes high-quality nature, wildlife and conservation images and is open to all photographers around the world. Winners will be featured in an exhibit at the California Academy of Sciences.
Entry fees for the youth division are $5 for one (1) image, $10 for three (3) images and $15 for five (5) images. The fees for the adult division are $15 for three (3) images, $20 for five (5) images and $25 for (10) images. Adults pay to enter a single category at a time, but may enter the category as many times as they like and may enter again to submit images to additional categories.
1. Adults – Open to ALL photographers at least 18 years of age on the closing date of the competition.The adult division welcomes photography enthusiasts and professionals alike to compete for a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize. Adults are encouraged to enter images into any of the six official categories specified below. 2. Youth – Young photographers up through the age of 17 on the closing date of the competition. Youth may enter images without specifying a particular category.
