The National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year 2016 is a highly prestigious wildlife photography contest, run by National Geographic. They are looking for images that showcase the diverse natural world around us. It could be a powerful wildlife shot, a stunning landscape, or a look at a complicated environmental issue. The winner of the Nature Photographer of the Year 2016 will receive a 10 day trip for two, to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions.
Each category will feature also winners:
First place: $2,500
Second place: $750 and a signed National Geographic book.
Third Place: $500
$15 per entry. Each entry consists of 1 image.
Contest is open only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry and who reside in the 50 United States, India, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, Italy, China, Japan, Germany, France, Indonesia, Spain, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Taiwan.
