The Nature Photographer of the Year 2016 is a prestigious Wildlife Photography contest run by National Geographic. They are looking for photos that showcase the awe-inspiring and diverse natural world around us.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a 10 day trip for two, in the Galapagos Islands aboard the National Geographic, Endeavour.
Each category will award first, second and third prizes.
First place: $2,500
Second place: $750 and a signed National Geographic book.
Third place: $500
The entry fee is US$15 per entry. Each entry consists of an entry form and a single photograph.
Contest is open only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction who reside in 50 United States, India, Canada (excluding Quebec), United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, Italy, China, Japan, Germany, France, Indonesia, Spain, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Taiwan.
