Pet lovers are invited to enter their perfect pooch or fantastic feline into a photo competition.

Pet charity PDSA is looking for a photo of a pet with its owner that captures the relationship between people and pets.
 
Three winners will receive a Canon digital camera and selected entries will feature in a gallery on the PDSA’s website during February and March.

Mary Bawn, spokeswoman for the PDSA, which has an animal hospital in Braunstone, Leicester, said: “We are looking for photographs to make our heart melt and are inviting pet owners to send in their ‘purrrfect’ snaps. Pictures must include pet and owner.”

The closing date is 15 March.

Send Coolthermal your piccies of your chilliest moments. They can be humourous, artistic, bizarre (but not too bizarre please!), people, animals, landscapes, snaps taken at home or on your holidays. We’ll display them in our online gallery and, although the main thing is to have some fun, there’ll be a valuable hamper stuffed full of Coolthermal goodies for the person who sends in the cold snap that gives us the warmest feeling.
