Computeract!ve Digital photographer of the Year 2007
| Deadline: May 5th, 2007 |
Anyone can enter our Digital Photographer of the Year competition, so send us your picture for a chance to win a share of £1,500 worth of great prizes from Canon
We want your entries for this year’s competition and anyone can enter. Send in your best picture for the chance to win a share of £1,500 worth of prizes. We were swamped with more than 5,000 entries for last year’s Digital Photographer of the Year competition. The standard of entries was truly amazing due to the creativity and skills of those of you who entered. In the past year, good digital cameras have become cheaper and editing software has made it easier to improve images too. This year, we’re looking for something special to win the coveted prize of Digital Photographer of the Year 2007. Entrants must make the best possible use of cameras and software to take a unique snap.
For example, while a sunset is invariably beautiful, a picture of one will need something special to make it into our shortlist. You decide what to photograph, and remember we’re looking for something truly different and out of the ordinary.
To enter, email a high resolution picture to photochallenge@computeractive.co.uk.
The deadline for entries passes at 5pm on 11 May. Please submit only one, print-quality entry. Note also that the competition is open to enthusiasts only we will check shortlisted entries to make sure they have not been submitted by professionals. The Computeractive team will chose the winner from your shortlist and also select four runners-up, which we will publish in issue 242.
